Curious George comes to Kiddie Academy

In late July, Alex's daycare had a special treat - Curious George came for a visit.  During this visit, he said hi to all the kids and even read us a couple of his books.  I conpletely thought that little Alex would freak out and be scared when he saw Curious George, but that didn't happen.  He LOVED Curious George so much that when he arrived, little Alex ran over to him and kept trying to say hi and get high fives!  It was so cute.  I'm so glad he wasn't afraid.  Anyway, it was a great Sat morning at Kiddie Academy and I was so happy little Alex got to meet Curious George.

Fun at the Zoo!

During the month of July, we went to the zoo a ton.  A few times we would just go ourselves and other times, we would meet friends.  One time, we met our good friends, Katie and her son, Ethan (who is little Alex's best friend).  Here are some pics from our fun at the zoo.

Cougars Game

This summer in July, my sisters, Nancy and Karen and their families were in town.  My brother-in-law, Mark, was also visiting around the same time.  So, while they were in town, we met up with some of Nancy's friends and went to a Kane County Cougars Baseball Game.  Little Alex was left at home with a babysitter, but we enjoyed it and had a wonderful time.  Here are some pics to commorate that fun day!

4th of July

During 4th of July this year, Alex took little Alex to New York to visit family.  I wasn't able to join them because I was too close to my due date and wasn't able to fly anymore.  Anyway, Alex and little Alex had a wonderful time.  Here are some pics of their visit.
