The tongue!

Today, Ajax found his tongue.  It's been really funny because he didn't even know it existed, but then all of a sudden, today he was sticking his tongue out at us all day long!  It's really cute.  Here are some pictures.

Erica Marten Photography - Session 2

Erica had another session with Ajax and the dogs a few weeks ago.  The photos turned out just as beautiful as the first round.  ENJOY!

Alex - 4 month doctor appointment

Alex had his 4 month doctor appointment last Friday.  He weighs 14 lbs 8 oz and is 25 inches long.  He is still in the 50th percentile for weight and around the 65th percentile for height.  He's a little more on the lean side (like his dad).  He also had another round of shots as well.  The doctor said he's right on track with his development.  He's holding his head and body up real well.  Also, he's rolling around and moving around like crazy.  He told us to keep up the good work!

Ajax gets his first haircut!

As most of you remember from when Ajax was born, his hair was over his ears and long in the back.  At his 2 month doctor appointment, our peditrician commented on what a mullet Ajax had.  Needless to say, we waited another 2 months before getting it cut.  So, on top of it being long on the sides and the back (it was actually hitting his shoulders), the front was starting to grow past his eyebrows.  Melanie (my hairdresser) stopped over to give him his first cut this past Sunday.  His hair looks great now - no more mullet:)

Ajax and Lil Peanut

Here are a few pictures of Ajax with his new doll - Lil Peanut. We found it at a store and thought it was the cutest thing, so we bought it. Ajax seems to like it and loves to hold it.

Happy Ajax

We had some great weather this past Easter weekend - 80s and sunny in Chi-town. So, we decided to take Ajax for the first of many walks outside in his stroller. He was a little weirded out by the stroller at first, but now he's loving it. Here are some pictures from our walk last Friday. As you can see, he's super happy to be going outside!

Grandpa Alex (Deuce) and Gama come for a visit

Here are some pictures of when Grandpa Alex (aka Deuce) and Gama made the long flight from California to visit us in Geneva. This was the first time they had seen Ajax since he was born. I think it was love at first sight!
